Eligibility Criteria for the TTI Bursary

To qualify for the TTI Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

South African Citizenship – Applicants must be South African citizens.

Enrollment at a Registered Public Institution – Candidates must be accepted or registered at a DHET-accredited university, university of technology, TVET college, or agricultural college in South Africa.

Undergraduate Students – The bursary is primarily available to students pursuing their first degree.

Black South Africans – Applicants must be of African, Coloured, or Indian descent, as per B-BBEE requirements.

Disadvantaged Background – Applicants must come from a previously disadvantaged background or belong to the “missing middle” category, where the annual household income falls between R350,000 and R600,000.

Academic Excellence – A strong academic track record is essential.
