Amandla Omoya Trust is now accepting applications for their Bursary Programme for the 2025 academic year. This opportunity is open to South African students residing within a 50km radius of the Jeffreys Bay Wind Farm in the Eastern Cape.

Bursary Details

• Available for NQF level 6 qualifications in technical and skills training (e.g., plumbing, bricklaying)

• National Diploma and Degree Programmes
• Covers registration fees, tuition fees, examination fees, study materials, accommodation, and meals
• Total bursary value determined on an individual basis

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• South African citizenship
• Residence within 50km radius of Jeffreys Bay Wind Farm (Humansdorp, Jeffreys Bay, Weston, Hankey, Loerie, Thornhill, and Patensie)
• Current Matric student or Matric graduate
• Pursuing or intending to pursue a Degree, National Diploma, or NQF level 6 technical/vocational programme
• Acceptance at a recognized public or private tertiary education institution in South Africa
• Demonstrable financial need
