Apply for the Amazon Bursary Programme 2025

StudyTrust, on behalf of Amazon, invites current undergraduate students entering their final year of a three-year degree OR the third year of a four-year degree in 2025 to apply for this bursary. Applicants should intend to continue studying for an Honours degree in 2026 (after completing the internship) and have a keen interest in Amazon and software development engineering.

Fields of Study:

• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Information Technology
• Information Systems

Eligibility Requirements:

• You must study one of the above-mentioned fields.
• Must be in the third year of either a three-year or four-year undergraduate degree program in 2025.
• Students in a three-year degree program must commit to returning to education to complete an Honours degree in 2026.
• Must be enrolled at a South African university.
• Only applications from South African citizens will be considered.
• Must have a consistent average of 65% and above.
• Must display a clear motivation for Amazon and the field of software development engineering.
• Must be available to be assessed for a full-time permanent role at AWS, starting upon completion of studies.

Bursary Coverage: The Amazon Bursary will cover the costs of:

• Tuition
• Residence/private accommodation
• Subsistence
• Stationery and books
• A personal computer
• Transport

Obligations:

• Successful applicants must complete an internship during summer vacation and participate in training opportunities at Amazon.
• Must commit to accepting a full-time permanent role if an offer is extended following the internship assessment.
• Full-time roles start after completion of studies, and applicants must commit to working full-time for the equivalent number of years funded.
