Bigen invites South African students to apply for their 2025 Bursary Programme.

Fields of Study:
Bursaries will be awarded for Engineering degrees related to Bigen’s services, which include:
- Environmental Services
- Financial Services
- Institutional Services
- Technical Services
Bigen aims to foster young engineering talent through their bursary program.
Bursary Coverage:
The bursary will cover the following expenses:
- Tuition fees
- Registration fees
- Books and other necessary expenses (Note: the bursary does NOT cover accommodation or residential fees)
Additional Benefits:
Bigen bursary recipients will also receive:
- Paid vacation work
- Regular communication
- Invitations to attend Bigen functions
- Inclusion in the Bigen Young Professionals Forum
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria before applying:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be studying towards an Engineering degree qualification
- Be enrolled at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa
- Have achieved a minimum average of 70% in your first year of study
- Have achieved a minimum average of 65% in your second or third year of study
- Not be receiving any other bursary funding or NSFAS
- Demonstrate leadership acumen
