Capitec Bank invites South African students to apply for the 2025 Bursary Programme.

  • Information Systems
  • Information Technology
  • Mathematics
  • Mechatronic Engineering
  • Quantitative Management
  • Risk Management
  • Sociology
  • Statistics
  • Transport and Logistics

Bursary Coverage:

The bursary will cover the following expenses:

  • Registration fees
  • Tuition fees
  • Textbooks
  • Accommodation
  • Stipends

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Have completed Matric
  • Be studying full-time towards an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in one of the fields listed above
  • Be enrolled at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
  • Have achieved a minimum overall average of 65% in their first year of tertiary study and above
  • Be willing to be based in the Western Cape (Bellville/Stellenbosch) and Gauteng (Sandton/Johannesburg)
  • Have a clear credit record
  • Have a clear criminal record
  • Be ambitious, proactive, and a problem-solver
  • Have a growth mindset, willing to continuously learn and develop new skills, and embrace opportunities for personal and professional growth
  • Be courageous and eager to find innovative solutions to make a positive impact
