The GIBB bursary is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students specializing in:

  • Electronic Engineering (with a focus on Rail, Signalling, and Telecommunication)

GIBB Bursary Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the GIBB bursary, applicants must:

  • Be studying full-time toward a degree in one of the specified Engineering fields
  • Be in second-year or higher for undergraduate studies or pursuing an Honours or Masters degree in 2025
  • Attend a recognized South African university

Bursaries are renewed annually, contingent on maintaining a minimum 60% average in academic results.
