Overview: The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) is offering full scholarships for Master’s degree programmes specializing in Data Science and Machine Learning, with a focus on financial analytics for the academic year 2025.

What the South African Reserve Bank Does: The SARB plays a critical role in maintaining price and financial stability in South Africa. It regulates the financial sector, manages interest rates, designs currency, and ensures the stability of the banking and financial system.

Requirements to Qualify for the Scholarship:

• Provisional acceptance into one of the identified Master’s programmes
• Modules selected should include topics in financial analytics
• Relevant Honours degree with at least a 65% overall pass mark
• Full-time South African citizen under 35 years of age
• Attendance of specific workshops as required
