The Imfundo Trust, an initiative by the Old Mutual Investment Group, offers scholarships aimed at supporting students interested in the investment industry and contributing to its transformation. These bursaries provide comprehensive funding for both undergraduate and selected postgraduate degrees at top universities in South Africa.

Scholarship Coverage: The Imfundo Trust Scholarships offer full-time funding for:

• Business, Commerce, Finance, and Management Sciences (First and second year in 2025)
• Computer Science and related fields such as Computational Thinking (First and second year in 2025)
• Data Science (First and second year in 2025)
• Climate Studies (Postgraduate)
• Engineering (First and second year in 2025)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Only South African citizens are eligible to apply.
• First-year applicants in 2025 must have achieved at least 70% in their mid-year Grade 12 exams, including a minimum of 70% in Mathematics and 70% in English FAL or 60% in English HL.
• The scholarships are available to students in their first or second year in 2025, except for Climate Studies.
• First-year students must have achieved an average of 65% or above in their latest exams (mid-year/June).
• Preference is given to applicants from rural and township backgrounds.
