Sasol Foundation Bursary Programme Overview: Sasol Foundation offers comprehensive bursaries to support South African youth pursuing full-time undergraduate studies. These bursaries are designed to foster skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and non-STEM fields, aligned with Sasol's strategic growth objectives and transformation goals.
STEM Bursaries:
- Open to talented individuals pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEM disciplines.
- Priority given to fields contributing to future capabilities such as Green Economy and Digitalisation.
- Qualifying disciplines include Engineering, Information Technology, Data Sciences, Agricultural Science, Environmental Sciences, Medical Sciences, Construction, and Manufacturing, among others.
- No postgraduate bursaries offered for the 2024 academic year.
Non-STEM Bursaries:
- Reserved for students from Sasol's fence-line communities, children of Sasol Khanyisa shareholders, and children of Sasol employees.
- Intended for undergraduate studies in non-STEM fields.
- No postgraduate bursaries offered for the 2024 academic year.
Eligibility:
- Limited to South African citizens by birth.
- Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in degree programs at a public South African University or University of Technology.
Application Period:
- Applications open from 29 July to 30 August.
