About the TTI Bursary Programme

TTI is currently inviting South African students to apply for the 2024 bursary programme. This bursary opportunity is available for undergraduate studies in all fields of study. TTI may also award bursaries for selected postgraduate studies in certain disciplines. The bursary funding is made possible by contributions from private sector funders.

Eligibility Criteria for TTI Bursary

To be eligible for the TTI Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • South African Citizenship
  • Acceptance or Registration at a DHET registered public institution in South Africa (universities, universities of technology, TVET colleges, or agricultural colleges)
  • Undergraduate Studies: Must be studying towards your first degree
  • Black South Africans: Must be of African, Coloured, or Indian descent (as per B-BBEE codes)
  • From a Disadvantaged Background: Must come from a previously disadvantaged background or the "missing middle" (annual household income between R350,000 and R600,000)
  • Academic Excellence: A strong academic track record is required
