The Monocle Foundation invites students to apply for their bursary program for the 2025 academic year. This bursary is specifically aimed at previously disadvantaged Black females, supporting their academic pursuits in various fields.
Fields of Study
Bursaries will be awarded for Undergraduate or Postgraduate studies in the following fields
- Accounting
- Computer Science
- Economics
- Engineering
- Finance
- Mathematics
- Medicine
What The Bursary Covers
- Tuition fees
- Book and study material allowance
- Laptop
- Accommodation
- Subsistence allowance
- students will receive career counseling and an MS Office course.
Eligibility Requirements For Monocle Foundation Bursary 2025
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be Female
- Must be Black (African, Coloured, Indian, or Asian)
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be studying towards an Undergraduate
- Postgraduate degree in one of the fields of study listed above (other fields may also be considered)
- Must be in their second or higher year of study
- Must be studying at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Must be in financial need with limited to no funding for education
- Must not be receiving any other bursary funding
